Volunteer
VHRC runs on passion, and we know you have that! If you feel inspired to get involved, we host drop-in volunteer hours at both our locations. We set you up to assemble the life-saving kits that we distribute at outreach. It’s low stress and high impact. Come for as long or as little as you like.
If you are sensitive to being around drug paraphernalia, this may not be the opportunity for you.
Volunteer Drop-In Hours
Roanoke:
Mondays from 3pm - 5pm
Thursdays from 3pm - 6pm
West Piedmont:
Mondays from 1pm - 5pm
Wednesdays from 1pm - 5pm
Thursdays from 2pm - 5pm
If you’re interested in volunteering for outreach, that requires a little more commitment, organization, and training. If it’s your first time dropping-in to volunteer or you’d like to attend outreach, please email us.
